As we get snowed under work just to earn a living, it is undeniable that stress incessantly becomes a part of our everyday life. Since the 15th Century, golf has been a popular sport to the locals of St. Andrews. Located in this city is the most famous golf course—the Old Course. Due to its popularity, you must submit a ballot before 2:00 the day before you wish to visit and play. This is to ensure that you get a spot in this infamous club.

If you have never been religious, now is your time to start as St. Andrew’s Cathedral is one of the most historical sites in this town. This well-preserved cathedral is the house of sets of sculpture and various relics that dates back to the medieval times.

Royalty at its Finest

On the north of St. Andrews is its famous town’s castle. This historical establishment has been genuinely-preserved by the locals. This castle offers exhibits for the visitors to fully enjoy exploring the history of St. Andrews.

Witches and Ghosts

The history of St. Andrews is very exquisite and it is presented with a twist by the Witches Tour. Here, you would be able to hear stories of the folklore of this town in a very interesting way. Actors play there theatrical stunts about witches and ghosts. It is usually held outside Grey Friars Hotel, located at North Street.

Kingsbarns Golf Links is one of the top tourist spots in St. Andrews. This golf course allows visitors to see spectacular sea views. This was ranked in the United Kingdom as the 20th best golf course.
